50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee, 2016

SFIFF Listed as 50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee for the third Consecutive Year in Moviemaker Magazine.

Last year's SFIFF screened the U.S. premiere of The Seventh Fire (subsequently acquired by Film Movement), as well as 2015 festival hits Songs My Brothers Taught Me and Krisha. The best thing about this fest, though, may be its loyal and eclectic community, from yearly favorites like cinematographer Lee Daniel and writer George R. R. Martin to visitors like (in 2015) Amazon's Ted Hope and special tribute honoree Gena Rowlands.
